M-17001 Primer Solvent & Reducer

M-17001 Primer Solvent & Reducer is a solvent made for use with the Shurbond M-16000 Ultra Bond Epoxy Primer. It helps you adjust the viscosity of your primer for spray application. This reducer promotes smooth flow, even atomization, and a uniform primer film. It works well in a wide range of shop conditions.

When you follow the recommended mix ratios, M-17001 lets you fine-tune your primer application. You get better control over how the primer sprays and lays down, all without losing system performance.

Mixing Guidance

Use the standard primer mix ratio below (by volume):

• 3 parts M-16000 Primer Base
• 1 part M-16001 Primer Hardener
• M-17001 Primer Solvent added as needed for viscosity adjustment

Application Tips

• Not all spray systems need thinning, so check your setup first
• Add reducer a little at a time until you reach the right viscosity
• Do not go beyond the recommended reduction levels
