M-204 Clearcoat Hardener

M-204 Clearcoat Hardener is the curing agent made for use with Shurbond Clearcoat Finishes. When added to the clearcoat, it starts the curing process that gives the finish its strength, gloss, and long-term durability. Without this hardener, the clearcoat will not cure or hold up over time.

When mixed at the right ratio, M-204 helps the clearcoat cure evenly and reach full hardness. This gives you a smooth, glossy finish that lasts.

All Shurbond Clearcoat Finishes require M-204 Clearcoat Hardener.

Cure Characteristics

• Typical Cure Time: 24–36 hours (depends on conditions)

Good surface prep, accurate mixing, and proper application are all important to getting the best results.

Mixing Guidelines

Standard Mix Ratio (by volume):

• 4 parts - Part A (Clearcoat Base)

• 1 part - Part B (M-204 Clearcoat Hardener)

• 1 part - Part C (Reducer, as needed)

Typical Usage per Bathtub

• 12 oz - Part A

• 3 oz - Part B

• 3 oz - Part C
