M-13000 Seal-Lok Adhesion Promoter is a bonding agent that helps coatings stick to hard, smooth surfaces. It does not etch the surface. Instead, it uses a 100% active resin formula to create a strong bond. This makes it a great choice when chemical etching does not work well or is not needed.
Seal-Lok works well on porcelain, ceramic tile, and other smooth substrates. It helps improve primer adhesion and lowers the risk of coating failure. You can also use Seal-Lok as a bonding layer before applying M-16000 Ultra Bond Epoxy Primer.
Recommended Applications
- Acid-resistant porcelain surfaces
- Glazed ceramic tile floors and walls
- Colored bathtubs and fixtures
- Non-water-exposed surfaces where chemical etching is not required
Application Guidelines
- Apply by light spray or wipe-on method
- Allow to air dry for about 10 minutes
- No tack stage is required before primer application
In areas that are not exposed to water, Seal-Lok may be used in place of chemical etching. Just make sure you follow proper surface preparation steps.
