M-16000 Ultra Bond Epoxy Primer

M-16000 Ultra Bond Epoxy Primer is a two-part epoxy primer made for pro refinishing jobs. It bonds to prepared surfaces and works with Shurbond topcoat systems. Use it to build a strong base layer before you apply your topcoat.

When mixed and applied the right way, M-16000 grips a wide range of surfaces. It helps your coating last longer, even in tough conditions.

Mixing Guidelines

Standard Mix Ratio (by volume):

• 3 parts - Part A (M-16000 Primer Base)
• 1 part - Part B (M-16001 Primer Hardener)
• M-17001 Primer Solvent - As needed for thinning

Typical Usage per Bathtub

• 6 oz - Part A
• 2 oz - Part B
• M-17001 Primer Solvent - As needed

Coverage

• About 500 sq. ft. per gallon (when reduced)

Actual coverage varies based on surface type and how you apply it.

Application Notes

• Dry time to recoat: About 10 minutes (varies by conditions)
• Apply one thin coat
• Tack or lightly sand before applying topcoat
